How we calculate the hours
Every number in the calculation is an example that you can adjust. Here is where it comes from.
Hours per task
For each task, an example of what it costs now, in minutes per item or hours per year. Anything you do not automate stays as it is.

Approval: measured
In September 2026, approval took our customers an average of 0.64 minute of active time per item (11,576 items). In the calculation, we use a conservative 2 minutes.
Three ways to work
- Automate only the manual work: Photopilot retrieves Fashion Cloud and supplier images, links, edits, and publishes them. No AI images; you can add AI product texts. Model photos stay as they are.
- Your own photoshoot, the rest automated: including your own photos, and AI writes the product copy. Your own shoot for model photos stays as it is.
- Model photos with AI too: including model photos, without a shoot day.
Hourly wage and workweeks
We use €30 in labor costs per hour: the retail average (EU average, Eurostat 2025). Enter your own rate.
A workweek is counted as 40 hours.
What Photopilot costs
The monthly plan is the fixed monthly fee for Photopilot, based on your number of items. AI usage is added only for what you have AI do: product texts from €0.01, AI packshots and AI model photos from €0.05 per item. There are no setup fees. For 5,000 products with AI texts: €9,050 per year = monthly plan €750 × 12 + ±€50 AI texts (5,000 × €0.01). View all prices
Adjust it yourself
On the management page, check how you work now and choose how you want to work. You can adjust the number of items and hourly rate directly; adjust the hours per task under ‘View the breakdown’ and then ‘Adjust hours’.
